Coconut Rice and Pear Soup

When to introduce: 10-12 months (check with your pediatrician)

Stars: Pears are high in fiber, potassium and Vitamin C. Coconut milk provides Lauric Acid, an essential fatty acid with antibacterial qualities, which is also found in breast milk. Spinach is a great source of Calcium and also contains respectable amounts of Vitamin A, Iron and Selenium too. 

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 can full-fat coconut milk
1 ripe green pear
2 cups baby spinach
1/8 tsp kosher salt
1 pinch ground ginger

Directions:
1. Puree all ingredients in blender
2. Serve with extra rice for garnish
3. Heat to taste

Servings: Fills about 2-3 Pouches
