The Environmental Working Group released an updated guide to pesticides in produce. This guide includes the best and worst produce when it comes to pesticides.

We use these lists to decide what to buy organic, and what we can buy conventional in order to save money. Without further ado, here is the list. You can download it here, too.

From Farm to Pouch | Fall Edition

Even though in parts of the country it still feels like summer, we are getting into the fall spirit. If Costco already has Christmas decorations out, we can at least start thinking pumpkin patches, apple picking and comforting fall recipes, right?

One of the best things about the changing seasons is that it means our farmers market will be stocked with all sorts of new, in-season produce.
