A New Accessory to Make Pouch Feeding Even Easier

Posted on May 14, 2013 by Amanda Holliday | 1 Comment

Did you think feeding from Little Green Pouch couldn't get any easier? So did we until we met the folks at PouchPop. We are so excited to team up with PouchPop to bring you yet another way to enjoy your Little Green Pouch and make the transition from bottle to self-feeding easy and intuitive for your little ones. Our kids LOVE using PouchPop and other parents are singing the PouchPops's praises on Amazon, too.

"Love this product! My daughter was having trouble eating the pouch foods because she couldn't figure out what to do with it and would squeeze the food out and make a mess. When I put the PouchPop on she immediately knew to suck the food out as if it were a bottle. Now she is a pro and with the help of PouchPop she can enjoy the pouched foods. Great product!" - Kasia
"I have not seen any other product for pouches to be more advanced and helpful in the journey to help your little one become an independent eater. I have given these PouchPop toppers to parents and parents-to-be which is the highest recommendation I could ever give." - Trent W.
"Great idea, easy to use and dishwasher safe. I like the PouchPop so much that I am giving these as baby shower gifts to all my pregnant friends!"

So, what is PouchPop? PouchPop was meticulously designed by a father of 3, to be a hospital-grade silicone barrier between the hard plastic pouch spout and your baby's (possibly teething!) mouth and gums. The silicone PouchPop extends the length of the spout by more than 1", acting almost like a mini straw that babies love to chew and suck from.  Engineered with the highest quality materials and input from from pediatricians, this little product is a lot smarter than it looks! Get yours here.

Mom Carissa was sweet enough to send us a picture of her darling Lily enjoying her new Little Green Pouch.

We were so excited to get her email, and to see our reusable food pouch in action.  Carissa says Lily “absolutely LOVES the pouches!” and that “she gets so excited whenever the pouch is heading her way.”

Thanks so much for the great picture, and for your support Carissa. You made our day.

Hiding Veggies

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Melissa Winn | 2 Comments

We recently received this email from one of our beta testers and just had to share! Plus, her son is adorable!!

Despite our best efforts, our 2 1/2 year old son, Nicholas, just doesn't love eating his veggies.  So we started making smoothies for him that are loaded with veggies and fruit, and we like to mix in some flax seed oil or coconut oil.  It worked wonders for a while, until he decided that smoothies didn't belong in his straw cups and drinking them out of regular glasses at home took so long that he'd just eventually lose interest.  Enter the little green pouch, and our nutritious smoothies have survived an almost inevitable demise!  He now loves to have his smoothies out of his little green pouch, and I can take them along in the stroller for a great snack on the go.  We are huge fans!

...Genevieve’s Baby

Although she is a toddler, little Genevieve here wants to remind everyone that the Little Green Pouch is indeed a reusable baby food pouch. She has promised that not only she, but also her baby, will provide invaluable feedback about their experience sipping a “McFatty” Non-Dairy Smoothie out of our reusable squeeze pouch.

Hopefully baby will get to go for a nice, cool swim after she finishes her snack. She looks like she might be a little warm in that outfit.
