When to introduce: 12+ months (check with your pediatrician)

Stars: Peanut butter is a great source of protein and healthy fats. Bananas contain potassium, fiber, and are high in Vitamin C, B6, and B2. Spinach is a great source of Calcium and contains Vitamin A, Iron and Selenium.

1 cup homemade almond milk
3 heaping handfuls spinach
1 tablespoon smooth all natural peanut butter
1 teaspoon pure cocoa powder
1 frozen ripe banana
1 teaspoon agave nectar or honey

*note: be sure to use homemade almond milk and natural peanut butter and cocoa powder to keep this a Real Food recipe.

1. Add milk first and then pile in the spinach

2. Add the rest of the ingredients on top and blend until smooth

3. Pour and enjoy
**Sometimes I start with a half cup of dry oatmeal and blend dry first, and then add the milk, etc. Or you could put all of the ingredients in the blender at night the night before and store in the refrigerator. You’ll be ready for a healthy breakfast shake in the morning!

Servings: Fills about 2 Pouches
