Banana Chia Seed Pudding

When to introduce: 24+ months (check with your pediatrician)

Stars: Chia seeds are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and are a good source of antioxidants. Bananas are high in potassium. 

Ingredients:
2 cups milk 
1/2 cup chia seeds
2 ripe bananas

Directions:
1. In a blender, combine milk and bananas and blend until smooth
2. Transfer banana mixture to bowl
3. Whisk in chia seeds
4. Cover and refridgerate for 4 hours, stirring once at 2 hours

 

Servings: Fills about 4 Pouches

A couple of questions about the banana chia pudding- can I substitute soy milk (my son is allergic to dairy) and also do I add whole chia seeds, let them soak overnight, or add milled chia?? Thanks!
