Carrot Nectarine Smoothie

When to Introduce:  6 - 8 months

Ingredients:
8 oz. carrot juice
1 cup nectarines

Directions: Rinse nectarines, pit and chop into chunks. Freeze. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. If your baby doesn’t like cold foods, omit the freezing.

Servings: Fills approximately 2 Little Green Pouches.

Stars: Carrots are rich in beta-carotene and are said to have cancer preventing and anti-aging properties. Nectarines are high in Vitamin C and Vitamin A and they contain a great amount of fiber. They are also a natural laxative.
