Apple Pie a la Mode

When to Introduce: 12 months (always check with your pediatrician)

Stars:  Apples are a good source of both soluble and insoluble fiber

Ingredients:
1 cup homemade applesauce 
1 tsp cinnamon
A few tbsp ground up whole wheat graham crackers, arrowroot cookies, etc.
Cream or milk as needed for texture

Directions: Mix all ingredients.

Servings: Fills about 2 Little Green Pouches

Modifications: You can probably do the same sort of thing with Pumpkin instead of apple, too!
