Apple, Beet and Cinnamon Puree

When to Introduce: 8-10 months (always check with pediatrician)

Ingredients:

1/3 cup beet puree (see here for details on pureeing your own baby food)
3 Tbsp of apple puree or applesauce
a sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions: 

1.  Mix beet puree with apple puree or applesauce.
2.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Servings: Fills 1 pouch

Stars: Beets contains fiber and potassium and are an excellent source of folate.
